Name That Song

Overview

Name That Song ("the app") is a lyric-guessing game developed by HCETech. This policy explains what happens with your data when you use the app.

Data Collection

Name That Song does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app does not require an account, does not connect to the internet, and does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

Data Storage

Any songs, lyrics, and app settings you add or import are stored only in a local database on your own device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer or any third party.

Permissions

The app may request permission to read a file you explicitly choose, for example when importing a CSV or text file of songs. This access is used solely to read the file you selected and is not used for any other purpose.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same location with a revised "last updated" date.
